eyes are set on BJP’s first mega election rally in Jaipur on Tuesday in which
Gujarat chief minister and national chairman of party’s campaign committee,
Narendra Modi, will test political waters ahead of Assembly and general
elections.
Sources said that party workers and people would start flooding the venue Amroodon Ka Bagh from 8 am to listen to Narendra Modi, who has a huge fan following.
Sources said that Modi would land at Sanganer Airport at around 11 am. He would be welcomed by senior party leaders including Vasundhara Raje.
For security reasons, three different routes have been fixed for Modi to reach the rally ground. The final route has not been revealed.
As many as 26 important leaders will share the dais with Modi at the rally. These leaders include party’s national president Rajnath Singh, state BJP president Vasundhara Raje, state incharge Kaptan Singh Solanki, organisation secretary Sheodan Singh and V Satish.
BJP MLAs, MPs and state office bearers would sit on a different dais. Modi is likely to reach the venue by 1 pm and is expected to stay for two hours.
Speeches of leaders will start at 11 am but key speakers will address after 1.30 pm.
Around 1,500 VIP passes have been issued and 40 blocks have been created to ensure proper sitting arrangement for them. Poly bags, books, boxes, tiffin boxes will not be allowed at the venue.
The party is expecting a crowd of around five lakh people for which both sides of Amroodon Ka Bagh have been booked. Party workers have been asked to ensure the presence of people belonging to all 36 castes in Rajasthan along with youths, women, Muslims and government employees.
